The Grailympics are a weekly event organized by The Grail Lords in which the towns compete against each other in various competitions. They are a good representation of a town's weekly activity. Seekers can choose to participate in one competition each week to help a town of their choice. Participation requires 5 Stamina and increases the Town Reputation by 2 points.
Every Sunday, during the Daily Reset, the town with the highest combined score will be that week's winner. All the citizens of the winning town will receive an additional 20 Stamina for the day. In addition, a Grail Stamina Potion is given to one random participant of the Grailympics.
How Competitions Work:
The Grailympics consist of 3 randomly selected competitions at the start of the week. Each Seeker can choose to participate in one of those competitions. Each competition is build around 3 Skills and 3 random factors (Motivation, Condition, Mental Spirit) all ranging from 1 to 100 points. These random factors allow even young citizens to contribute to their towns.
Score of a Participant:
- Total value of Skill A
- Total value of Skill B
- Total value of Skill C
- Random number between 1 - 100
- Random number between 1 - 100
- Random number between 1 - 100
Thus, the score a Seeker can obtain ranges between 6 and 600, were 300 points are fixed and based on the Seeker their Skill, while the other 300 come from 3 random values that aren't affected by anything.
Score of a Town:
- Top 3 participants scores from Competition 1
- Top 3 participants scores from Competition 2
- Top 3 participants scores from Competition 3
A town's total score is always the sum of 9 participants' scores - the 3 highest scores from each of the 3 competitions. If the score of a Seeker is among the 3 highest in the selected competition, then the town score will increase and the Seeker will be displayed in the top 3. If the score is lower than the top 3, the score for the town remains unaffected.
Using the Re-roll:
All participants can use a re-roll to try and improve their lowest random number for 3 Grail Tokens. The highest value of both rolls is kept. In other words, the score of the participant can never get lower. In addition, Grail Nobles will have a guaranteed higher result on their re-roll than their lowest score. Each week a different combination of three competitions from the list of 20 below are opened for Seekers.
