Chicken
Chickens are one of the Animals available at the Town Ranch.
- Chickens' life expectancy is 30 days.
- Needs to be fed daily for one stamina/day.
- Search for Eggs: Provides 2 eggs each 3 days (10% chance for 3 eggs).
- Slaughtering: 1 poultry + 1 extra for each 5 days the chicken was alive.
Additional information & hints:
- A good starting animal to buy from the town since it is cheap.
- Egg hunting requires 16 stamina (Each 12.5 points on the Chicken Attitude Skill reduces the cost by 1 stamina).
- Slaughtering a chicken takes 30 stamina (Each 6.665 points on the Chicken Attitude Skill reduces the cost by 1 stamina).
- Slaughtering reduces the durability of your Butchers Knife by half the stamina used, rounded down.
- You can post a work-order to search for your eggs or slaughter your chicken.
- The follower Porkard the Pig Tenderer will feed your animal for you as long as you have him hired.
- If the chicken would die during the daily reset from starvation or due old age, you won't receive any poultry from it.
